Who would have thought we're broke with these kinds of gifts?

I wanted to show these off, because they were so simple, and yet they turned out wonderfully (a feat for me :P)

I am so insanely proud of these! Enjoy!

I made this microwaveable neck wrap for my dad. It was amazingly easy and only took a couple of minutes to throw together, but it looks and feels so nice. All I did was trace a giant, bubbly 'U' on an old piece of newspaper and used that as a template. Then I gathered some random scraps of pretty fabric I had laying around, cut two giant 'U's and sewed them together, then filled it with rice and some lavender potpourri. Hopefully he'll like it as much as my husband does. :)

For my stepmom I made a scrap calendar. It's the first scrapbooking project I've ever done and I absolutely loved it. I'm puzzling over how to keep the pages open when it's stood up, though. Any ideas?

I'm also making a hollow book for my stepsister (7), but it isn't quite finished. The best part is that the book I found to use is entitled 'Deceptions'. I just had to, it doesn't get much more perfect than that!
