Yes, it's true! They had an old Brother sewing machine and sewing desk for only $9. We can't find anything specific about this machine, but it looks like a 1950's model. And yes, it even works like a dream!
As we went through and cleaned out the drawers we discovered quite the gold mine. Inside one of the drawers were boxes of parts, manuals, tuning equipment and even two crochet needles.
I'm not really sure how this little gadget is supposed to make rugs, but that's what it says it does. It did come with the intruction manual, I just haven't gotten to read it yet.
This little pink box holds a personal skirt marker. According to the side of the box, you attach it to the wall or side of a cabinet, etc. and use and handheld buld to fan puffs of chalk dust along your hemline to mark it.
This is another foot pedal, though I'm not sure if it even works. There is no cord to attach it to the machine. Behind it you can see a box of button hole guides.
The owners manual for the sewing machine. Inside was also a pamphlet of latch hook.
A handheld button holer with all the parts and manuals. Didn't even know these things existed!
These are nobs for the sewing machine. They allow you to sew decorative stitches and embroidery. I don't know how, but when you install them in the stitch length nob they shange the stitch patterns.
More attachments, mostly hopper feet and motor grease, plus the dual needle head and some other accessories.
And here's a picture of everything laid out together. I am so super stoked about this, it was an amazing bargain. :) I love my new sewing machine!
