Inspired by the other day's success story...

I was pretty stoked about the pants I made the other day and decided it was time to finish another project that's been knocking around for a while. And here it is! A lovely 50's style dress I made from a Butterick pattern I fell in love with.

I used the wrong kind of fabric (I didn't even know there was a wrong kind of fabric until after I fell in love with it) so it wrinkles and creases insanely easily. But still, it's pretty and I love it.

I fucked up the snaps (oops, first times and all, though) and I thing I botched the cutting, because the yellow part fits well in the waist but it's shorter than the brown part in the skirt, but the brown part is too long in the back and kind of tight in the waist. Oh well, it's still a lovely dress and I'm super stoked that I made it. :)
